Steve Gray was appointed President and CEO of GE Healthcare’s Detection & Guidance Solutions (DGS) division in June 2014. DGS is a $3 billion plus global business with 1,700 global employees that specializes in X-Ray technology across the entire continuum of care – from screening & diagnostics, to enabling therapy. The business includes Women’s Health, Radiography & Fluoroscopy, and Interventional systems with the purpose of touching the world with earlier answers and more hope to improve health and extend life.
Steve is a 35-year GE veteran and most recently spent the last 5 years leading GE Healthcare’s Molecular Imaging and Computed Tomography business. He has a broad experience base with multiple roles in engineering and business leadership in the medical, transportation, industrial, and appliance industries.
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Steve holds 10 U.S.A. patents.
